I figured out the complete plot of Star Wars Episode VIII. Luke tries to train Rey and kills her when he breaks her back during a training exercise that Master Yoda once tried to teach him. Once again leaving Luke as the Last of the Jedi.

I am flippin excited and am a complete spoiler junkie. We shall have fun in that thread as things leak out. I don't know how much I should speculate because I know that a lot of folks don't wanna know anything.
I WANT to see the revelation that Rey is indeed Luke's offspring. I want to see Finn's growth as a hero and to become a major player in the Resistance. I really HOPE that we get to see the beginnings of the next-next Jedi Order.

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi"
Luke already was the "last of the Jedi." The Force is the power, Jedi is just the training and tradition. Jedi training seems to breed a lot of Sith tradition on the side unintentionally. If Luke is training Rey, how would he not train her to be a Jedi? If the Jedi are ending who is going to be the policeman of the galaxy? Additionally I want to know more about these new factions. Is the First Order a military organization, and the Knights of Ren a force tradition that works with the First Order? -If so, That sounds similar to the relationship between the Republic and the Jedi. But who is this "Ren" of whom there seems to be many knights? Where did Snoke come from, who trained him? If I may speculate wildly, he looks like Darth Plaguis, the master of Darth Sidious. If it were actually Plaguis then his (The First Order's so proclaimed) end goal of returning order to the galaxy would be motivated by another entity such as an invading alien species (e.g. Yuzzhan Vong or the Gree). If Snoke is not directly working with an alien species then it would narratively lay the galaxy on a silver platter for such a galaxy sweeping event to occur. I don't think Disney would actually go for this sort of narrative, so I just don't know. -The way this is going I would guess that Luke will adopt a "rule of two" like the Sith when they went into hiding, or something similar with minimal numbers of trained Force users (whatever they are calling themselves if not Jedi). The "rule of two" only worked for the Sith because they eventually wanted to enslave the galaxy. There needs to be a motivation or an end goal for Rey to work towards. Maybe Rey will devote her life to reuniting family members and freeing slaves and such. Luke's training will necessarily involve non-galaxy changing goals in order to take the fate of the galaxy out of the hands/influence of the Force. __________________ "Keep on going!
