So, my first attempt to make a character by myself. I was going to make a Bounty Hunter at first, but after buying the 'Dangerous Covenants' book I liked some of the paths a Hired Gun can go. Please let me know if I missed something obvious or did something wrong.

He's heavily combat focused for now, though dependent on RP we will see what skills he picks up!

So I looked at your character.  I think he sounds tough.  Very interesting  He has faced great hardships in his life.  His stats look right.  I would have to look at a book and compare to be 100% sure.  His equipment is good.  I like to encourage characters to always try to solve issues without combat first.  But it is always fun to have that one guy who is all about the boom.

I would recommend you flesh out who the enemies who killed his family are to aid a GM with incorporating that into your adventures.

When I read your backstory something came to me as a Game Master what would be really cool to play with.  He served loyally in the Galactic Empire's military having been forced to sometimes do questionable things for the greater good of the Galaxy... Or so he thought.  It was the bad memories of the dark things he did for the Empire that caused his motivation to retire far away from war off in the outer rim.  He became a humble man who oversaw a colony or local farmstead community.  Then the Empire arrives and decides to take the community farms for the greater good of the Empire forcing the people to work towards the Empire's might.  He was away on a job leaving his family behind when this occurred.  Upon his return he found his family had resisted this change and were destroyed as a result.  His farmstead was burned to the ground and his family killed by the Galactic Empire.  The very military he dedicated years of loyal service to.  Now he wants revenge of the military commanders who were involved in the attack.  One by one he works to destroy each and every one until he reaches the top and overthrows the Empire or dies trying.

This makes it easy to leave the bad guy blank and a GM can incorporate many Imperial Officers over time and you can destroy each one.  Sure this story makes your character a bit of a Rebel.  Not sure if you were intending that or not.  But it would create a pain and suffering inside of him.  An anger both at the Empire and at himself for the questionable things he may have done for the greater good of the Galactic Empire.  It becomes a story of you reap what you sow.

Not sure what your thoughts are of that story tweak.

I like the thought behind that Dalia except for the family bring killed. Most people do the Empire killed my family all the time. He could do it where his family was shamed and they were thrown out of their farm and it was taken from them or even destroyed.

Just my two credits on the matter. It is nice to not do the usual Empire killed my family stuff.
